NEWBORN BOOKING INFO

Congratulations on your new little one! There is nothing more precious than a newborn and all the newness that comes with it, from tiny fingers and toes, fresh baby wrinkles, and all those noises...lets not forget the baby smell! These are the moments you want to remember forever. Babies change so quickly that it is best to do a newborn session before 16 days old if possible. Most newborn sessions are offered weekday...if a weekend is required it must be booked in advance. My goal is to make your session as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. This allows for a smoother session and a much more sleepy baby as well. A typical newborn session can run up to two hours so please be prepared when you arrive, and also prepare yourselves with activities and snacks for other children if you have any.

Before you arrive

Please feed your baby before you arrive or right when you get here to insure that baby is full and happy for photos. Feel free to arrive before your session by a bit to allow for this if you would like.

I am also current on my DTaP shot. This is something I believe in keeping current as my work does mean I am around premies, micro premies, and newborns daily.

What do you need to bring when you arrive? Nothing... I offer all props, wraps, and backdrops needed for a session. You just need to show up with diaper bag and baby. If you would like to bring an outfit I do have a limit of 1 outfit if you choose to bring any other items are welcome. Example: bible, ball glove, name sign etc...

During the session

Dont be alarmed if your baby poops or pees all over the backdrops, blankets, and the props...its okay...I promise! no need to apologize, I am used to it all! Just bring lots of diapers and wipes and maybe a extra blanket just incase. Safety is my number one concern during a session. I practice safety techniques I have acquired over courses and trainings in my 13 years of experience. I also listen to your baby and his/her body and they will direct me into what poses are best for them. Every baby prefers things differently so its is important that a photographer follows this and not push poses as each baby is completely different.

After the session

Turn around time for a session can be up to 4 weeks...depending on the season...and as fast as a week in slow season. I do not rush editing so that you get images your love and will be lasting for years to come. I do post a sneak peek sooner so you can see some images, as I know how exciting this time of your life is!

If you got a package with products those do take a bit longer for biding and shipping.

See you soon!

I look forward to meeting your newest family member! These sessions are some of my favorites to do. I love seeing your amazing, tiny newborn, but also being able to join in on one of the happiest times in your life. Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask. ~Tisha
